A quick start

From open file
to right at home.

A concise introduction to the current Windows development app. Playback shortcuts apply when the playback surface has focus.

01

Open something you love

Choose Open file or press Ctrl+O. You can also drop local media onto the playback area. Multiple selected files become a queue.

02

Make the moment comfortable

Use Space to pause, Left/Right to seek five seconds, and F to enter full screen. Move the pointer or press Tab to reach hidden controls.

03

Choose your tracks

Open Audio tracks with A. Use J to choose a subtitle track, or attach a subtitle file from Commands. V hides or restores subtitles.

04

Keep your place

Add a bookmark with Ctrl+B. For longer listening, explore playback speed, spoken-content preferences, and the sleep timer in Commands.

Useful keys, at a glance.
